Who's to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet?
Both of the houses (like-the feud). If it weren’t for the parents that have been feuding for God knows how long, Romeo and Juliet would have been able to confess their love for each other to their families. This means that Juliet wouldn’t have had to fake her death, because she was being forced to marry Paris. I can’t even imagine how hard that would’ve been on the poor girl. As for Romeo, he didn’t want to fight Tybalt, but since Tybalt killed Mercutio, Romeo was so engulfed in anger, he went after him. If it weren’t for the families holding a grudge, or whatever the heck the feud is about, neither Romeo or Juliet would be dead.
